Welcome. A Personal Introduction.

BACP Accredited Counsellor

Hello.

Welcome to this introduction to my Counselling / Therapy / Psychotherapy work:

Life can be full of problems and choices, so sharing an emotional difficulty in a safe and secure environment can bring real relief and help to find positive change in your life.

I can help with relationship issues and other issues such as self worth, respect, trust, affairs and betrayals, communication, loneliness and abuse. I also specialise in anxiety, stress, panic and trauma.

I have also worked as a bereavement counsellor at the MacMillan Centre at Trafford General Hospital supporting those with bereavement or terminal illness.

My work is predominantly person centred where I support you in finding the best way forward that works for you as an individual or couple.  If it feels appropriate and dependant on your needs I may use CBT and coping strategies.

My experience includes many years of face to face counselling with individuals, couples and young people; I have spent a lot of time within secondary schools helping teenagers within personal development groups and individual therapy sessions.

Finally, I am an accredited BACP Supervisor offering supervision for counsellors and student counsellors practicing a person centred or integrative approach.

Thank you for spending some time looking at what I can offer.  You are most welcome to Get In Touch to discuss your needs; I offer a free telephone consultation and look forward to hearing from you.

With best regards
